SR-22 is an east-west transportation corridor that provides connections to five major freeways; I-605, I-405, I-5, SR-57, and SR-55, and crosses most of the major north-south arterial corridors in Central Orange County. SR-22 was one of the remaining freeways in Orange County not having HOV lanes, so was not part of the region’s HOV transportation network.

TEC Management role was as a PMC sub-consultant. The program management services included preparation of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) documents, the Industry Review documents, and the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents.

The PMC services also included evaluation of the bid documents and assisting contract administration, design management, and construction management services of the design/build contract after awarded.

TEC PMC services included the following:

  • Preparation/ implementation of Utility Relocation Program

  • Contract & Technical Specs for Design/Build Project

  • Participation in selection of Design/Build Contractor

  • General oversight of contractor’s Utility Program

  • Q&A inspection for civil/structural/electrical installations
